What is a Photocatalyst treatment?
Photocatalyst Solution Spray (TiO2/Phytoncides) – is a revolutionary safe and effective self-cleaning product. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is widely used in air and surface disinfection, purification, deodorization, sterilization, anti-fouling and fog removal.
As a photocatalyst, TiO2 spray has applications for self-cleaning surfaces, water and air purification, and as an antimicrobial or self-disinfecting coating.
Titanium dioxide application for antimicrobial purposes has been recognized for several decades and has been used for air and water purification. Because its action is primarily due to photocatalysis, it is a benign, environmentally friendly means of destruction of both chemical and microbial contaminates.
On surfaces, titanium dioxide (TiO2) is able to:
- Inactivate the bacteria and viruses
- Reduce formaldehyde by 99%
- Reduce bacteria, benzene, TVOC, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide
The spray is made from safe materials, non-toxic when inhaled or ingested, environment friendly, human and plant friendly, and decoration and finishings friendly.
